FIRST ANNUAL BIG MAC SHOOT OUT FISHING TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD TO BENEFIT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (July 11, 2011) – The first annual Big Mac Shoot Out Fishing Tournament benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida will be hosted by the Fort Walton Beach Elk’s Lodge #1795, 1335 Miracle Strip Parkway on Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach, July 15-17, 2011. The boat fee is $200. A $5,000 first prize will go to the larges king mackerel caught during the event. Cash prizes totaling more than $10,000 will be awarded based on 50 boats participating. The categories are as follows: Mackerel 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Wahoo 1st, Barracuda 1st and Redfish 1st and 2nd. A FREE kid’s cane pole fishing event for anglers 10 and under will be held at the Lodge on Saturday July 16th from 10am to 11:30am. Ronald McDonald will be in attendance. Participation certificates and trophies will be awarded. Food and entertainment will also be provided during the tournament. A captain’s dinner will be held July 15 at the Elk’s Lodge with early registration open at 4pm. The final weigh-in and awards will be on July 17.
